Welcome to Best Friend Test.

These Terms of Use & Community Guidelines govern your use of BestFriendTest.fun, including its friendship tests, custom BFF quizzes, shared quiz links, results, analytics features, and related functionality.

Best Friend Test is founded and owned by Teena and is operated from the United States.

By using BestFriendTest.fun, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Purpose of Best Friend Test

Best Friend Test is an entertainment service that allows people to create, answer, and share friendship quizzes.

The service is intended for personal, recreational use.

Detailed explanations of how quizzes and scores work are available on our How the Best Friend Test Works page.

2. Entertainment Only

Best Friend Test scores, result labels, rankings, and other quiz outcomes are provided for fun and entertainment.

They are not:

  • Psychological assessments
  • Medical advice
  • Mental-health advice
  • Professional relationship advice
  • Scientific measurements of friendship quality

A high or low quiz score does not determine the value, quality, or strength of a real friendship.

You should not rely on Best Friend Test results when making important personal, relationship, health, safety, or legal decisions.

3. Age Requirement

Best Friend Test is intended for people 13 years of age or older.

The service is not directed to children under 13.

If you are under 13, you should not create a quiz, answer a custom quiz, submit information through the website, or use the Contact form.

If the law where you live requires parental or guardian involvement before you can agree to online terms, you should use Best Friend Test only with that involvement or permission.

4. No User Account

Best Friend Test does not currently require users to create an account.

Custom quizzes instead use generated links.

Quiz creators receive:

  • A shareable link for quiz participants
  • A separate private link for viewing and managing quiz results

You are responsible for keeping private management links confidential.

Anyone who obtains a private management link may be able to access the management features associated with that quiz.

Best Friend Test may also remember active quiz activity in the browser you are using as a convenience feature. Details about this browser-based history are explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Your Responsibility for Quiz Content

Custom quizzes allow users to write or modify questions, answer choices, names, and other content.

You are responsible for content you submit through Best Friend Test.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to submit it
  • It does not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights
  • It does not violate applicable law
  • You are not submitting it for an abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose
  • You understand that quiz content can be viewed by people who receive or obtain the quiz link

Do not submit information simply because you assume a generated quiz link is private.

6. Community Guidelines

Best Friend Test is intended to provide a fun and friendly experience.

You may not use the service to create, distribute, or facilitate content or activity that is harmful, abusive, unlawful, or inconsistent with that purpose.

Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use Best Friend Test to submit, create, share, or promote content that:

  • Threatens, harasses, bullies, intimidates, or deliberately humiliates another person
  • Encourages violence, self-harm, or harm to others
  • Promotes hatred or attacks people based on protected characteristics
  • Sexually exploits, abuses, endangers, or sexualizes minors
  • Reveals another person’s private or confidential information without permission
  • Contains passwords, login credentials, financial-account information, government identification numbers, or similarly sensitive information
  • Impersonates another person for a deceptive or harmful purpose
  • Is knowingly defamatory or malicious
  • Facilitates fraud, scams, phishing, or deceptive activity
  • Contains malware, malicious code, or harmful technical instructions intended to compromise the service
  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
  • Promotes unlawful activity
  • Is primarily spam or unsolicited commercial promotion
  • Misuses quiz links, analytics links, scores, results, or other service features

This list is not exhaustive.

We may take action when content or behavior reasonably appears to threaten users, the website, or the intended operation of Best Friend Test.

7. Personal and Sensitive Information

Best Friend Test is not designed to store confidential or highly sensitive information.

Do not use a custom quiz to store or distribute information such as:

  • Passwords
  • Login credentials
  • Financial information
  • Payment-card information
  • Government identification numbers
  • Private addresses or phone numbers
  • Medical records
  • Confidential information belonging to another person

Use first names, nicknames, or other non-sensitive identifiers where appropriate.

8. Shareable and Private Links

Quiz links can be copied, forwarded, saved, or shared by other people.

Shareable Quiz Links

A shareable quiz link is intended for people who want to participate in the quiz.

It is not password-protected, and anyone who obtains it may be able to access the active quiz.

Private Management Links

A private management link is intended for the quiz creator.

You should not share this link unless you intentionally want another person to have access to the associated management functionality.

Best Friend Test is not responsible for access caused by a user voluntarily sharing, publicly posting, or failing to protect a private management link, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

9. Quiz Results

Quiz creators choose the correct answers for their custom quizzes.

Best Friend Test calculates results based on those selections.

We do not independently verify whether a creator’s answer key is objectively correct.

Participant names and quiz performance may be visible to the quiz creator through the private management system.

10. Quiz Availability, Expiration, and Deletion

Custom quizzes are temporary.

365-Day Active Period

A custom quiz normally remains active for 365 days after it is created.

After the active period ends:

  • The quiz stops accepting normal submissions
  • Its analytics dashboard is no longer available
  • The quiz and associated attempts are scheduled for removal from the active service

Manual Deletion

A quiz creator may delete an active quiz and its associated results before the 365-day period ends through the private management dashboard.

Old Quiz Links

Expired or deleted quiz links may continue to display a message explaining that the quiz is no longer available.

Best Friend Test may retain a minimal technical record of an expired or deleted quiz identifier so that previously valid links can be recognized.

11. Editing Quizzes

Custom quizzes cannot currently be edited after creation.

This helps prevent questions or correct answers from being changed after participants have already received scores.

If you want different questions or answers, you can create a new quiz.

12. User-Generated Content License

You retain any ownership rights you have in content you submit to Best Friend Test.

By submitting content, you give Best Friend Test a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Create and operate the quiz
  • Make the quiz available through its generated link
  • Allow participants to answer it
  • Calculate and display results
  • Provide quiz-management functionality
  • Maintain, secure, and operate the service

This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Best Friend Test.

The permission ends when the content is removed from the active service, subject to temporary backups, technical records, or legal retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

You should not submit content unless you have the right to allow us to use it for these purposes.

13. Best Friend Test Intellectual Property

The Best Friend Test name, branding, original interface, software, original written content, graphics, design elements, and other materials created for BestFriendTest.fun may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

Unless you have permission, you may not:

  • Copy substantial portions of the website
  • Republish our original content as your own
  • Sell or commercially redistribute the website or its software
  • Reproduce proprietary parts of the service
  • Use Best Friend Test branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Best Friend Test intellectual property to users.

14. Copyright and Rights Complaints

You should not submit content that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights.

If you believe content available through Best Friend Test infringes your copyright, trademark, or other rights, please use our Contact Us page.

Where possible, include:

  • The relevant quiz URL
  • A description of the content
  • An explanation of the rights you believe are being violated
  • Enough information for us to review the complaint

We may remove or restrict access to content when appropriate.

15. Reporting Abuse

If you encounter a quiz that appears to violate these Community Guidelines, you can report it through our Contact Us page.

Please include the quiz URL and a clear description of the problem whenever possible.

We may investigate reported content and take appropriate action, including removing a quiz before its normal expiration.

Because quizzes are intentionally temporary, we do not guarantee that reported quiz content will remain available for investigation indefinitely.

16. Prohibited Technical Activity

You may not interfere with or attempt to compromise Best Friend Test.

Prohibited technical activity includes attempting to:

  • Hack or compromise the website
  • Bypass access or security controls
  • Access private management functionality without authorization
  • Systematically guess or enumerate private quiz or management links
  • Introduce malware or malicious code
  • Deliberately overload or disrupt the website
  • Automate abusive or excessive requests
  • Manipulate quiz results using unauthorized technical methods
  • Scrape or extract data in violation of applicable law or these Terms
  • Use Best Friend Test to conduct phishing, fraud, or cyberattacks

We may block requests, restrict access, remove content, or take other reasonable protective measures when suspected abuse is detected.

17. Service Availability

We try to keep Best Friend Test available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The service may occasionally be unavailable or behave unexpectedly because of:

  • Maintenance
  • Software updates
  • Hosting problems
  • Bugs or technical errors
  • Security incidents
  • Third-party outages
  • Internet or infrastructure failures
  • Changes to the service
  • Events outside our reasonable control

We may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary.

18. No Permanent Storage Guarantee

Best Friend Test is not a permanent storage service.

Do not rely on it as the only place to store:

  • Important writing
  • Personal records
  • Memories
  • Questions you need to preserve
  • Other valuable information

Although custom quizzes normally remain active for fourteen days, we may remove or restrict a quiz earlier when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, technical maintenance, or enforcement of these Terms.

19. Third-Party Services and External Links

Best Friend Test may use or link to independent third-party services.

Their use is governed by their own terms, policies, and practices.

We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, accuracy, or privacy practices of independent third-party websites or services.

20. Enforcement

We may take reasonable action when we believe these Terms or Community Guidelines have been violated.

Actions may include:

  • Removing a quiz
  • Restricting access to content
  • Blocking abusive requests or traffic
  • Limiting access to website functionality
  • Preserving information where reasonably necessary for safety or legal purposes
  • Responding to valid legal requests
  • Taking other reasonable steps to protect users or the service

Because Best Friend Test does not currently use user accounts, enforcement may rely on technical measures rather than traditional account suspension.

21. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Best Friend Test is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will always be available
  • Every feature will always operate without error
  • Every quiz link or result will remain accessible
  • User-generated content will be accurate
  • Quiz scores will meet a user’s expectations
  • The service will be completely free of technical problems or security risks

Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees, warranties, or consumer protections that cannot legally be excluded.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Best Friend Test and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This may include losses associated with:

  • User-generated quiz content
  • Interpretation of quiz results
  • Expired or deleted quizzes
  • Lost quiz or management links
  • Sharing of generated links
  • Unauthorized access resulting from another user’s sharing of a link
  • Third-party services
  • Service interruptions or technical failures

You are responsible for deciding what information you submit and who you share quiz links with.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

23. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if your submitted content, misuse of Best Friend Test, or violation of these Terms causes a third-party claim against Best Friend Test or its operator, you may be responsible for resulting reasonable losses, liabilities, or costs.

This provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

24. Privacy

Your use of Best Friend Test is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains our data practices, retention periods, browser-based quiz history, third-party services, and available privacy choices.

Where this Terms page and the Privacy Policy address different subjects, each applies to its respective subject matter.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use & Community Guidelines when:

  • Best Friend Test changes
  • New features are introduced
  • Existing features change
  • Security or abuse-prevention requirements change
  • Legal or operational requirements change

When these Terms are updated, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be changed.

Your continued use of BestFriendTest.fun after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

26. Applicable Law

Your use of Best Friend Test is subject to applicable laws and regulations.

These Terms are not intended to remove or limit consumer, privacy, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
